It’s 5:42 am and I think my water just broke – not sure since I haven’t been sure of anything when it comes to being pregnant – but fairly certain. So, we’ve called the doctor and we’re headed to the hospital to check it out!
Not feeling contractions. Yesterday was 3 weeks till the due date. Jason’s car is in the shop – luckily we have a rental van. I’ll be driving us to the hospital. Typical of our lives for me to want to have everything in order and not get my wish!
I still feel good so I’m not worried about any of it.
Will keep you posted….
The real deal or false alarm? What’s your guess?

Crossing my fingers for you to have a fabulous day!
Good luck! I would bet it is the real deal! How exciting!
Good Luck! How exciting for yall.
Good luck to the Hall family!! What a wonderful day for a birthday!
Hmmmm…not sure since you’re not having contractions….but the hospital will probably induce labor if your water did break…good luck and can’t wait to hear of the new baby!!
Good luck!
Good luck! Cole just can’t wait to get his kisses in person! XX’s
Good Luck!!!! Keeping our fingers crossed for a safe and smooth delivery!

My thoughts are with you! Good luck!
Yippee! How exciting! My prayers & thoughts are with all 3 of you, in addition to the doctors & nurses you’ll encounter at the hospital.
Ahhh! That would be so exciting if you had your little baby boy TODAY; since today is my Birthday. I was born around 7am today. I weighed 2lbs and 11oz, so it is a lucky day! However… I wonder since your blogging about this… is it true? Maybe a false alarm would be my guess.
Oh, and PS… it is exciting to hear that Crystal is going to be having another baby. Wahoo 4 babies.
Congratulations and best wishes! I’m betting its the real deal and you will be holding a beautiful baby before long.
Real….. they will make you walk a bit…. add pitocin after about 2 hours and you will be a mommy by 11:43 pm !! CONGRATS.
I thought my water broke once and it was the mucus plug-how gross does that sound?! lol. How exciting! And how wonderful for us that you were BLOGGING about it at the time!! You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers today either way Kolette! Best wishes.
Good luck, God Bless, I posted on the CE board so all your CE Alumni friends can be praying for you.
I am praying for you starting now! Thanks for keeping us posted, you are too kind.
How exciting! I am guessing the real deal! I was 3 weeks early on my first and my water broke with no contractions. I wasn’t sure either, but once we hit the hospital parking lot the contractions started. I can’t wait to hear all about it and see your new bundle of joy!
I think they always estimate a due date 2 weeks later for first time moms, so this is probably the real deal! Little Cole is ready to be born! I’m praying for you, Jason and little Cole…let us know all about it and how it goes as soon as you are able! Best wishes and happy thoughts!
Sara
I was two weeks early with Alex and my water broke and I had no idea what it was. I thought there was something wrong with my bladder.
We called the doctor and he told us to come in. I had no contractions, one mild cramp, and I drove us to the hospital. We had nothing packed, but put some things together before leaving at 3 am.
I was 3 cm and had the baby at 10:51 am.
I hope this is it for you. Good luck
It’s the real deal. I would say by 8pm tonight you will have a very beautiful son!!!! Whoo Hoo. Good Luck as know my family is praying for you.
Isn’t the water breaking like a trickle of warm bath? It feels like you can’t control your urine but, it isn’t. Mine broke
the day before my due date, with my third.
Then I had him on my due date in the morning, as that is really amazing as the ultrasound showed a very smiley little(quite Big, 9′7-1/2 oz baby boy. Healthy but, needed a little oxygen from being bigger.
I never would imagine pushing at so early in the morning.
oh I hope your labor went well and you did wondefully!!!!
All, i can end with is YIPPEE!!!!!
Happy Birthday Cole!
Enjoy it all, well, maybe not the labor itself but the whole experience. Congrats to you and Jason!
Wow, how exciting! My kids didn’t want to come out on their own; I was induced with both. So, that means I have no idea about water breaking.
I pray everything goes smoothly and can’t wait to hear if today is really the day you get to snuggle baby Cole
Yahoo! Good luck and congrats!
ooh i’ve just checked out your blog for the first time in a couple of weeks – i hurt my back so havent been able to sit long enough to log on lol
Anyway
WHOOOP WHOOOP i’m really hoping and praying that your happy day is continuing in the way you want it too!
If your waters broke at 5am your time that was about 7 hours ago so who knows you could be well into your labour by now!
Wishing you all the best of luck. Cant wait to find out!
Good Luck Kolette! Six and a half years ago my water broke while I was reaching for some scrapbook stuff in my “corner” and I ended up driving myself to the hospital too!
Good Luck! Wishing you an easy delivery.
Thank you for letting us know – takes me back instantly to the atmosphere of the hospital rooms where I had my 2 children. You will most certainly be in our thoughts during the next hours (hopefully not several!). This is your time and moment – and TRULY deserved. From one of your ‘A Life Well Crafted Students’. Renee
