I really try to send non-returnable dishes - it's so nice as the meal-getter to not have to worry about washing & returning. Last week I took dinner to a new baby & her parents & with it a plate of fresh fruit - grapes, apples, & oranges. It was a hit - easy & healthy & munchable. I am a pretty okay cook & I still stress every single time I take a meal to someone. I totally agree with the disposable dishes concept. I make a really cute tag to attach with re-heating instructions and invite them to keep the dish. I love giving that little extra and pyrex doesn't cost that much at Wal Mart! Cole sure is cute. Since Chip was hospitalized, and now that he is home recovering, I am most grateful for all the gifts of meals. Neighbors and family who have brought things here.
