It’s a good thing I didn’t make any firm commitments of posting every week because I clearly have already failed! It is amazing how just trying to become a Mom again takes up so much time and energy. I am so grateful that I have gotten at least to this point in my recovery process – Cole and I are doing great together. I try and do an activity each morning…for me it helps me get out and active, for him it just gives him something to do other than hang around at home. Jason will often take us on our outings to the store or running other errands. I do better when I don’t have to be in charge of driving as well as getting out. But we also like to have friends come over to play. There are plenty of families with little ones in our neighborhood that we invite over or head to their house for an hour or two. I love those days because it gets Cole around some action and it gives me a chance to visit with my friends. It’s good for my healing process.

So, in an effort to do “Mom Things” I have not had the energy to think about my blog (which, based on your comments, you don’t mind me taking it slowly). However, I wanted to post the photos of bits and pieces from our “Favorite Things Party” that was such a great success last spring. (Check out my previous post for more info on how to plan your own party).
Here are a few of my favorite things about our event!

Positive Quotes About Each Woman - they got to take their own home

Photo Garland - draped over shutters for a display table

Party Favor - "easel-style" quote at each place setting
As you can see, everything we did, from the decorations to the party favors, focused on celebrating the individual. Does it take more time to do this? Yes. But is it worth it? Absolutely. The impact of each woman knowing that they were important, loved, unique, and worth celebrating is priceless. Would you like me to do a Download Day with our party favor quote? How about if I do that next time. Watch for it and enjoy sharing a “favorite little something” with those you care about.

Kollette – it just does my heart good to hear that you are doing better. While I love knowing what you are doing and partaking of your beautiful spirit, I love even more the fact that you are able to be with Cole again. I hope your holidays are truly special.

Would you also please share which fonts are used for “little” and “something”, please?
Fonts: “little” is my own handwriting and “something” is Arial Black but just using the outline.
Kolette-I’ve loved the whole concept of ENT and am always excited to recieve another installment but more importantly I am truely grateful you are on the mend. I’ve been a big fan ever since the early days of Big Picture Scrapbooking and have missed your presence in the last months.
OH Kolette,
You are so thoughtful with all you have going on! I was just thinking as I viewed that quote how I would love to have it. That would be terrific.
We are so happy and grateful you are healing. It has to be mind-blowing every day to have Jason to be able to be so helpful. I bet his heart bursts with joy at each new things you can manage that he is thrilled to drive to the store or wherever.
We will keep praying and trusting and watching your recovery and, of course, Mr. Cutie-Pie Cole.
So very glad that you are on the “mend”. Take it easy and enjoy the time with Cole. What a little sweetheart he is.
Take care and know that we are on the journey with you, cheering you on with each step of the way.
Hugs!
I am so thrilled to hear that you are still on the mend and able to get out and about. I love this idea for a “favorite” party and am going to suggest it for next spring’s women’s conference at our church. Thank you for sharing your life with us, Kolette. You are such an inspiration to all who read your blog.
Welcome Back Kolette!
We have missed you but know that you are doing what you should right now and that is simply being a Mama and taking care of you!
I love this party idea. Simply love it.
Any chance of creating a download for the centerpiece display quote?
I want to present this to our RS Pres.

Welcome back.
I am so glad you are doing better. I would love the download. You have been such an inspiration to me as I have done the ENT program in our ward. Your creativity and ideas have truly carried me through. Thank you. Take care of yourself and spend all the time you can with your family. Those little ones grow up way to fast. Cherish the moments.
I probably comment way too much, but remember that commercial when a mom goes around doing ordinary things and there’s this group of people cheering her on the whole time? I cant remember what the commercial was for but the voiceover was like, how would you like your own personal cheering team? And I was like, heck yeah!! So this comment board can be like that for you. WAY TO GO KOLETTE, WHOO WHOO!!!! Have fun being a mom, revel in the tiny moments and enjoy the heck out of sitting on the floor and playing cars with Cole and taking the world at his pace. Your party looked so fun!! That download would be on my wall in about five minutes (give or take : )
Keep getting better!!
Ciao for now!

You are such a kind and loving woman! I am so glad for you that you are able to do more as days go by and especially glad you are able to spend more time with Cole. Those moments are certainly precious. It’s so refreshing to know Jason is finding ways to serve you as he supports you through this recovery process and it is especially good to know you are able to visit with friends. {hugz} Best wishes for your continued recovery, Kolette.

I’d LOVE to have the download, and I’m sending love and hugs your way to both you and Cole!
I am so excited to see you back I could cry. I have missed you sharing on how you view life. I have learned so much from your classes on Big Picture and your blog. Thank you!!
