SILHOUETTE
I am loving working with Silhouette America designing shapes for the Silhouette electronic die-cutters. I love having my designs available on a weekly basis – it keeps my creativity current and exciting. Check out my store here. My favorite shapes are vinyl phrases, subway art, and quotes like this one:
HAMPTON ART
I am an educator by degree but primarily work as a licensed designer in the craft industry. Have you ever been to AC Moore or Joanns or Michaels stores? Check out their $1 bin rubber stamps and clear stamps…those are often mine, manufactured by the fabulous Studio G, a division of Hampton Art. You’ll see my label, “Kolette Hall,” written really tiny somewhere on them. I also work on the “Soloz” line, the “I Cling” line and any specialty collection you might find. I have created thousands of designs for stamps.

$1 Stamp Collections for Michaels Stores
PROVO CRAFT
Along with designing stamps, I also work with other craft companies such as Provo Craft. They are on the forefront of technology in crafting and I design products for their Cuttlebug and Cricut die-cutting machines. I designed all of the images for the Gypsy attachment and you can find them under the heading “Gypsy Wanderings.”

Cuttlebug Embossing Folders
COLORBOK
I also worked for three years with Colorbok, where I designed over $10 million worth of scrapbooking product for QVC, Target, Wal-Mart and other craft stores under the “Kolette” brand.
BIG PICTURE SCRAPBOOKING
Because I have a masters degree in education and was a teacher before I was a licensed designer, my heart will always be in the teaching arena. I am lucky enough to be a part of the Big Picture Scrapbooking team (www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com) where I have developed and taught many life-coaching workshops for scrapbookers.
I like to involve my husband, Jason in the workshops as we develop and present curriculum that motivates and inspires others to live well as we teach about life principles of happiness and then offer instructions for craft projects that reflect those life principles. Our debut life-coaching workshop called, “The Art of Choosing Joy” was a hit so we followed it up with “The Art of Becoming More” and three years of “Giving Well,” which focuses on ideas that are giftable as well as other fabulous and personalized gift ideas that you can create for anyone on your list.

In 2009 we offered a year-long workshop entitled “A Life Well-Crafted” and had a fabulous experience with hundreds of crafters across the globe.

WHAT’S NEXT
I have been a keynote speaker at scrapbooking and other events as well as a guest instructor for countless crafting and motivational workshops. I often speak with my husband, creating a two-person inspirational team that reaches the masses. I have experience speaking to women’s groups, corporate events, company meetings or any other gathering you are planning. Email me to book your event.
I am also always exploring new opportunities where I can develop product and designs for companies and count myself lucky to have the luxury of working from my laptop. Contact me if you are interested in how I can help you create fabulous projects, preserve your memories and live life with creative beauty!

Kolette, I have wondered about you so much lately and was so glad to see your blog. I have seen your designs at Wal-Mart and Target and just tell my friends, “I know the person who designed this!” You are truly an amazing person. I am so glad I got to work for you and get to know you. Take care. Thanks for the invite to see your blog. I will be checking it often.

Kolette (and Jason): My daughter and I will be attending CE in AZ – our first time. Needless to say we are very excited. I found your words on your very first blog both inspiring and quite timely for Angie and I. Two weeks ago she was injured playing soccer and we are hoping she will be able to have the surgery within the next couple of weeks, allowing time for her to begin to heal before she and I head to AZ. She has a torn ACL; MCL; torn ligaments and damage to her cartilege. As I told her, when she does it…she does it BIG! She is quite discouraged which is just so not like her! She is always the one with the smile and the hug to offer someone else. She and her husband are trying to have a baby and have begun the pursuit of some addl “help” so as she says…the timing stinks! We also leave tomorrow on our family planned annual camping trip. She will come with her husband, 9 year old daughter and dog after church on Sunday. So, I am going to direct her to this blog and have her read it. She does have much to be grateful and thankful for which she knows but it still can’t hurt to think it a little harder. I love her so much and want the best for her….and I am ever so grateful to have her in my life! Thanks for sharing and making me stop and think today! – See you in a few weeks! I’ll make sure we introduce ourselves!
I am looking forward to your 2009 year long class. I will put it on my Christmas list.
Thanks for continuing your classes. The are very inspiring.
Kolette,
Every entry I read of yours brings strength into my life. My mom and I listened to the audios from “The Art of Becoming More” and I only wished I would have had her listen to every BPS class I have taken of yours. At age 60 about 1991 my dad got Multiple Sclerosis-progressively worsening type(affects 10%). He has a feeding tube, foley, and is basically a quadrapelgic. My mom is a full time caregiver to my dad. I am not married and live with my mom so I can help as much as possible. I love my family so and am so grateful to be able to help. My mom and I often go through those times of feeling like we are okay, then something happens and we’re fighting to hang in there and maintain our strength. We have learned to let go of the little things and have learned from you and Jason. You are an amazing woman to give of your life for others -strangers who you only know by screen names on a computer. Thank you for being so transparent. You have touched so many lives. Be blessed always!
Kolette,
I can not tell you how much I enjoy your stamps. I go to Michael’s once a week hoping to find a new stamp that I haven’t seen before. The “font” or handwriting on the stamps is gorgeous. I am kind of a nerd when it comes to making cards and your stamps are the highlight of every card I make. All this beauty for one dollar. I guess that is why I have roughly 35. I had no idea you had clear stamps either! Well I am sure I sound just crazy, but i just wanted you to know that your stamps really do inspire me!

Yea for you! Love reading your blog and, like always, it’s so inspiring! Thanks for your years of friendship and inspiration to me! You’re the best.
I stumbled on your BPS bio this morning and had that rare feeling of affinity…I like those books too! (I’m guessing you get that all the time.) And then reading about your story and your work also. I have been an artist/designer for 16 years and am feeling very frustrated lately, trying to reach out to whatever appears might be helpful. Loved the C.S.Lewis quote — maybe the last few years have been a struggle because I haven’t been using the whole of me??? I will come back and check in with your blog…thanks for taking the time to share your talents and motivation.
I love that I have found you!!!! I have so many of your stamps and I thank you- being on a budget and wanting it all- your line is incredible!
I also loved reading your blog and can’t wait to read some more- you are very inspiring!

Hi Kolette! I adore your stamps, and your handwriting, and now your blog! I use the stamps from Michaels all the time – today a fellow stamper left a comment for me telling me of your blog! I had no idea how many companies you designed for.
I really enjoyed reading about you and your husband. I signed up for both newsletters and look forward to reading more. You are both very inspirational and I just love your idea of the gratitude journal…this may be something I need to start myself.
Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
Hugs and smiles from Korea,

Kolette~
I’m so glad you have a blog now! I emailed you last year to tell you how much I love your stamps. I’m kind of ashamed (and yet proud) to admit I nearly have them all. I don’t have an AC Moore so I can’t get any that come out exclusively through them.
I’m such an addict that the first photo is making me nuts since there are some I’ve never seen before. I’ll have to keep on the look out for them.
I’m so excited to read that you and Jason will be parents soon! It’s surely and adventure. It’s scary and wonderful all at the same time. After reading your site last year I decided to choose joy. My daugther has an extremely rare genetic disorder (GLUT1) but is the light of my life and really is a blessing (especially since she’s more mildly affected tham most others). After reminding myself to choose joy after a while I noticed my whole outlook was different.
Thanks so much for the inspiration (the life and the crafty kind)! I’d love to send you some burpies when the little one arrives. You can see them on my website.
Congrats again!
Rachel
I am so excited to find your blog! Congratulations on your new bundle of pure joy! May God Bless the delivery and and all that follows. Enjoy!!

Hi –
I was searching for C.S. Lewis rubber stamps and came across your blog. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got the paper or stamp with the C.S. Lewis quote that you used above?
I have a Masters in Adult Ed also and was wondering how you got started in craft design? Ironically I was just thinking about this last week and how I’d love to do that!
Thanks!
Blessings,

Oh Kolette, I remember the day I met you and how you changed my life. It was at the Minneapolis CKU and how you shared your life with us about your quilt you had made for your husband while he was in the hospital. This was truly the most inspiring moment in my life to this day. I am so happy for your absolute beautiful bundle of joy. God has led me to your page and I cannot tell you that you are just what I needed in my life at this time. I will look forward to every entry and will go back and read your blog. I thank you again for all your awesome work, which by the way, I think I have purchased many, not even knowing it was YOUR HARD WORK.
Love and God Bless You!
Sheila
Hi Kolette – I remember last year you did a class for Big Picture on cute gifts to give at Christmastime. Is that archived anywhere that I could take it this year? I really wish I could have last year but didn’t have the money. I’m very interested in it. Could you tell me if you’ll be doing another? Thanks!
You inspire me! Love your blog!
Help! I had a stamp by Kolette Hall !~ and it was a circle that said : A Little Something.
My grandson lost it and I am grieving it’s loss. I loved it so much.
Is there anyplace I can find another?
I have searched ebay, google, stamp sites and all of the above for some time now!
Help would be appreciated.
Blessings this Season.

Here’s to a wonderful brand-spanking new fun-filled excursion together! Best wishes always to you and your family.
I love everything I’ve ever seen from your creations. I purchased your
“Built for You” scrapbook the Love Album and would love too purchase more
of this album along with others I’m hoping you have created but can’t find them anywhere. Can I order directly from you or can you please direct me as too where I can find them? I have checked my local Target, Walmart, AC Moore, and Michaels.
Thanks,
Chrissy
I wish! I don’t sell those myself – just came up with the idea and Colorbok manufactured them. They might be discontinued by now since it was about 5 years ago that they first came out. So sorry – I agree that they are fab, though! (If I do say so myself!)
Hello! I’ve been reading your blog for some time now and finally got the bravery to go ahead and give you a shout out from Porter Texas! Just wanted to mention keep up the fantastic job!
Kolette,
I was wondering if you are the same Kolette Hall that co-wrote the Certification Made Simple book? If you are I was wondering if there is some way to get permission to make copies of specific pages of the book since we can’t obtain another copy because it is priced over $300 on amazon and such. We really need another copy of this book and would like to buy a copy but can’t justify spending that much for it although it is a very valuable book. Do you have any suggestions for us.
Jennifer
Yes, that’s me! We are not the ones selling it for that crazy price although it is out of print at this time because our publisher was recently bought out by a larger company. Hope to have it available at some point – don’t know when that will be. Thanks!
I bought I believe at Michaels in Dublin, CA a couple of years ago Colorbok Kolette “Built for your scrapbook Christmas Album…Just add pholots….Includes 20 pre-made layered and embellished 8 x 8 pages in sheet protectors. I love them…..How can I purchase a lot more of these???? ISBN # 1-58508-815-3 2004 Kolette Hall colorbok, Dexter Michican Made in China
Sandy Valladon sandylovesfaith@aol.com cell 925 584 1046…Thank you so
very much for your precious time……
I LOVE those “Built For You” Scrapbooks! Unfortunately, those are a product from about 8 years ago and no longer being made. They are my favorite, too! Lucky you that you found one but you probably won’t have any luck finding more. Bummer. Thanks for the email and enjoy your book!
