My husband, Jason is a quadriplegic and had been confined to a wheelchair since he was in a diving accident at age 15.
However, this has not stopped him from achieving more in his life than many able-bodied people I know. He was the student body president of Brigham Young University the first year we were married.
He was ranked in the top 5% of the life insurance industry his first five years in the business.
He overcame a second life-threatening accident in 1997, endured a 13 month hospital stay, over 20 surgeries and years of rehabilitation.
He is now a motivational speaker, working full-time around the world to inspire corporations, colleges and various groups to overcome adversity and become a “Champion Inside.”

Hi Kolette and Jason. June hooked me up to your blog so I would get the facts straight as I include Jason in my high council talk for the Bel Air Ward in the Boise West Stake. Some will remember you, especially since you spoke here a while back. By the way, my talk is about individual worth as in President Uctdorf’s talk in October “You Matter to Him”.
You do; us too.
George
Jason,
Thanks for all that you shared in the Fremont Ward last Sunday. I so enjoyed hearing your stories and especially your testimony. You are welcome to come back anytime.
Thanks,
Allisha
What a phenomenal person! I’m so inspired!
