I am a quilter. Wait. I am a piecer. I send my quilts out to be machine quilted because the hand-quilting is not my thing. So, I piece quilts.
I rarely use a set pattern. I create the patterns myself from a variety of blocks and patterns and ideas.
I use graph paper and a calculator and figure out how to create a work of art using fabric.
I call it Fabric Therapy.
Touching the fabric is healing and calming and an opportunity to express my creativity.
When I received an email highlighting some of my Silhouette designs used to create a St. Patrick’s Day quilt, I felt….LUCKY.
I hope you enjoy Kelly’s tutorial and post here.
I felt lucky again when I saw how ANOTHER Kelly used part of one of my quotes to create this inspired board for her family.
Seeing the best in each other.
Loving each other out in the open.
